Professional Statement:
I am committed to excellence in every project or position I have had the privilege to be involved in. My true passion and motivation in my professional career is being involved in all aspects of revenue generation, sales, sales management, sales planning, strategies and market development. My primary focus and goal is to build revenue streams and shareholder value by helping structure and optimize the sales organization for maximum efficiency and effectiveness, utilizing a combination of sales engineering, technologies and know how to meet those objectives. My tag line is “driving the top and bottom line”.
Revenue is the lifeblood of an organization and selling to create revenue is a unique blend of art and science with many dynamic challenges to overcome. The science aspect of selling is the analysis, planning, strategy, preparation and implementation of a cohesive system and selling structure. The art aspect is the interaction, motivation and eloquence in the delivery of the approach to your prospects, customers, associates and coworkers.
It has been my life’s work to attain and refine these skills and experiences necessary to be a successful sales and business development professional. I have always been a producer, close to the sale and involved with the essence of each deal. I would like to think that I have a knack for creating solutions; alliances, relationships and making visions come to fruition. My experiences, knowledge, tenacity and know-how have helped me attain my accomplishments both small and large. I like to say I have had equal success to failures and hope not to make the same mistake more than once.
The pinnacle of one’s career can be measured by whom they choose to associate and work with. It is my desire to work with people of the highest integrity, commitment and passion, people with good energy and leadership insight. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with leaders in-depth of how I can make major contributions to a vision, challenges and goals.
Personal Interest
I am a native of Marin County California and enjoy everything this incredible area has to offer. My stature in the community is well established with many friends and interests that come from a lifetime of living here. I am a family person with two sons and a lovely wife of 28 years. We enjoy all types of sporting functions from basketball and water polo tournaments, swim meets, boating on the Bay & Great Lakes, skiing, riding motorcycles, social functions and being deeply involved with the community.
I serve on the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce "Education Committee" that provides internships and jobs for high school students throughout Marin County.
My passion outside of my career is sports and activity, I like to say I am not a watcher of sports but a player of sports. If it involves a racquet and ball, it is for me. I love the competitive and social aspect of tennis, racquetball, and skiing to keep fit and keep the edge. I enjoy being around positive people and will always take the lead in making things happen and creating a cohesive environment for all to enjoy.
